THE SPECIAL DEALS SYSTEM

The stock system holds four selling prices that are used in the Point of Sale program and Price List Software. These four prices generally cover the needs of most users, however the Special Deals System provides the facility to offer a vastly extended range of selling prices to some or all customers simply and effectively.

There are six types of Special Deals available.

A Fixed Price

A Percentage Markup On Cost

A Percentage Discount From Price 1

A Percentage Discount From Price 2

A Percentage Discount From Price 3

A Percentage Discount From Price 4

The Point of Sale program uses the "Special Deals" file to get the price that a customer will pay. There are many combinations of special deals that can be set up in the system. A customer may also qualify for a number of these deals.

Stock Sub Group Per Account

Any Stock Item Per Account

Stock Item - Any Account

Stock Group - Any Account

Stock Sub Group - Any Account

Date Operated  - The Special Deals system tests for the start and finish dates of the deal and only applies that deal where the date allows.
